Yes, we've all dreamt of princes and princesses, of castle life, of legends, of underground passages from one castle to another, of mysteries, and now we're all in awe of these families.

They perpetuate and dedicate their lives to preserving and improving this heritage.

10:00 - Welcome by the castle guide, presentation of the estate. "Château du Cayla" in Andillac is located in the heart of the Gaillac vineyards, in the middle of a wooded, bucolic park. You will be welcomed into this pretty traditional Languedoc manor house, where Maurice de Guérin, Eugénie de Guérin's brother, was born.
Guided tour of the castle: discover the places where two romantic writers lived. Walk in the Andillac valley to discover the small village, its church and its location in the heart of the vineyards and hills.

11:30 - Departure for the Cailloutis wine estate in Andillac. Organic winegrowers since 2001, they will share their know-how and commitment to nature with you and invite you to visit their estate, followed by a wine tasting. Followed by a tasting of their best vintages.

12:30 - Departure for Gaillac, lunch at the Ispiens restaurant in pleasant surroundings with a friendly team.

15:00 - Visit the Château de Mauriac, and admire the beauty of the countryside as you drive through the bastide country and Gaillac vineyards.
The Bistes family, owners and magicians of the castle, will give you a very special welcome. For many years, this family has combined its love of art and history, its skills as builders and decorators, and its passion for enhancing its castle by carrying out major restoration work, such as rebuilding the parapet walk. You'll discover an unusual site that was once owned by Alexis Tapié of Celeyran, one of the youngest cousins of the painter Henri of Toulouse Lautrec. Discover the exhibition of paintings by the painter Bernard Bistes throughout the visit to the castle.
