Cordes sur Ciel, between stones and vineyards

Duration 2 days / 1 night
Discover an exceptional village, perched on the clouds. Its charm is matched only by its remarkable heritage. Time is frozen here; a bubble on the edge of everyday life.

You will be welcomed in a guest room where authenticity and quality are the key words. With your mind at ease, you will be able to savour the delights of Gaillac wines during a visit to a winegrower and discover the medieval towns of the Bastide region.

Accommodation

A white stone mansion, built in 1844 and flanked by a dovecote, dominates the complex, which has been transformed into a guest house with 5 bedrooms and 2 gîtes. The old wine storehouses are home to activities for children and adults (table tennis, table football, bicycles). From the patio, where dinners are served in the evening, you have access to the swimming pool. From there, at the foot of the dovecote, in the sun or in the shade of the fig and cypress trees, you can enjoy the superb view over the surrounding countryside. Les Vents Bleus, a charming guest house, is ideally situated in the heart of the Gaillac vineyards, and will enable you to explore and visit Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, Monestiés and the Pays des Bastides.

The restaurant

Table d'hôte to enjoy in the patio in summer, gourmet breakfast with local specialties concocted by the hostess.
