The guest house has been converted from the old barn, with a lovely view of the limestone cliffs. The river is right there, at the end of the field, for a refreshing dip in summer or a spot of fishing. If you're feeling more sporty, you can explore the many hiking and mountain-biking trails that criss-cross the causse, or try your hand at rock-climbing and potholing. For lovers of heritage and old stones, there's a wide choice of places to visit: Bruniquel and its castle, the fortress of Penne, the suspended village of Puycelci, the bastide town of Saint-Antonin, wash-houses and mills...
*The guest house
Completely independent house, in the small hamlet of Sabiou, close to the owners' second home, who only come to maintain the outside of the guest house (they do not sleep there). With its stone walls and proximity to the river (150 m away), the house is cool. Peace and quiet guaranteed at Sabiou!
Sleeps up to 4 (2 adults and 2 children) with two 90cm single bunk beds in the living room (separated by a curtain).
Living area :
- open-plan kitchen equipped with oven, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker, microwave and fridge with freezer.
- lounge area with sofa bed, TV and fireplace (wood available)
Sleeping area (access via 4 steps from living room):
- bedroom with 140x190cm double bed
- bathroom with shower, single washbasin, hairdryer and washing machine
- separate toilet
Outside: the guest house is surrounded by grass! The river is 150 metres below. In front of the guest house there is a wooden table, sun loungers and a covered shelter if you wish to eat outside sheltered from the sun.
Parking is available at the side of the guest house.
The 4G network is weak, ideal for a green holiday!
