The guest house is located at the end of a hilly road in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by flowers and woodland. Situated between Albi, Toulouse and Montauban, just a few kilometres from Salvagnac and Gaillac, it is a haven of peace in the heart of nature, ideal for rejuvenation, relaxation and meditation.
An old farmhouse with mud walls providing exceptional insulation. It's always cool when the heat is on.
The décor is rustic, with parquet flooring.
Ground floor:
- fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (14m²): induction hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, hoover, food processor, coffee maker, kettle, citrus press, toaster, etc.
- living room (13.5m²) with table for 12 people, radio
- living room (24m²) with cathedral ceiling, equipped with two sofas including 1 sofa bed 140x190, TV, 70 cm wood-burning stove/insert
- bedroom (11m²) with bed 160x200, private bathroom (bath) with wc + washing machine. This room opens onto a sheltered, well-exposed covered terrace, equipped with garden furniture. Table and chairs, barbecue, clothes line.
First floor:
- 2 bedrooms (9.50m² + 9m²), each with two 90X180cm beds, shower room, wc. One has a window facing south, the other a roof window facing north.
Grounds:
Containing over 155 varieties of flowers, flowering shrubs and trees, the 3-hectare estate is completely organic. We use no pesticides, fertilisers, insecticides or any other industrial chemicals. The unmown areas encourage biodiversity. Bees and butterflies are still present on the estate. We don't hunt, except with cameras.
This is why biodiversity is very present, you can observe birds, insects, hares, roe deer, owls and find mushrooms or respounchous (Magali will explain what they are!) in season in the wood.
Facilities:
In addition to the grounds, you will enjoy parking, a private garden, garden furniture, a barbecue and a 12mx7m swimming pool sheltered from view, a badminton or volleyball court.
The swimming pool is shared with the owners. The latter will nevertheless arrange not to be present when holidaymakers are swimming.
Surroundings:
The guest house can be a good base for visiting Puycelsi, Penne, Bruniquel, the Grésigne forest, Cordes sur Ciel, the Aveyron valley, Albi (Episcopal city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site), Gaillac and its vineyards (little Tuscany), Montauban, Toulouse... or a little further afield Castres and the Sidobre massif.
All shops 6 km away, leisure centre 9 km.
Basic products are provided (oil, spices and condiments).
All-inclusive price: Internet, electric heating and wood for the stove.
Household linen and towels are provided.
Sheets can be hired for €11/bed.
End-of-stay cleaning service €70. To avoid this, you can choose to clean the accommodation yourself (cleaning materials provided).
Following incidents on the site, fire, smoking and pets are no longer accepted.
With the exception of electronic cigarettes, this accommodation is completely non-smoking, inside and out.
However, a smoking area can be arranged on request.
