One thing's for sure, though, and that's that its classification as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France will not be called into question! The typical charm of its facades, its main square with its arcades and its pillory bear witness to a history and heritage that is still very much alive.

Your holiday home is in the Rue de la Poste, just a few metres from the main square. And yet, you can enjoy a private swimming pool with its own private garden!

Castelnau-de-Montmiral is ideally placed for visiting the vineyards of Gaillac, where you can get carried away on summer evenings at the aperitif-concerts. There are many villages and bastides in the Tarn. You'll have a wide choice of perched villages, surrounded by ramparts or dominating a rocky outcrop. The charming episcopal city of Albi is around thirty kilometres away. The impressive Sainte-Cécile cathedral is well worth a visit.

LE GITE is a village house with independent access from one of Castelnau-de-Montmiral's main streets. It is difficult to get around the village centre by car, but there is a car park 50 metres from the gîte.

- Ground floor: fitted kitchen opening onto the dining room. Large living room with a TV area in a corner where there is a sofa bed that can sleep 2 extra people. Access to the outside from the dining room and lounge.

- First floor: three bedrooms. The staircase is equipped with a stairlift.
