A pretty wooden caravan for 2 people, at the foot of Castelnau, with a built-in spa on the terrace.
Throughout his working life, my grandfather, Gabriel Rignac, was the cooper of the village of Castelnau-de-Montmiral, while my grandmother Ida - helped by Eulalie, my great-grandmother - worked on the farm with farmyard animals, cows, cereals and vines of course. When he retired in 1975, he set up his workshop in the farmhouse, to maintain and repair the barrels and containers of the property as well as those of his former clients and friends. Today, it is me, Aline, his granddaughter, with Christophe, my husband, who have reinvested the premises to give them a new and beautiful life.
Our gipsy caravan is located on the site of the former farmhouse of the château des Mazières, built in 1750, at the bottom of Castelnau-de-Montmiral, a bastide classified as a remarkable heritage site. It is a pleasant stay which awaits you, restful, in the countryside, with a view on the village, in the middle of fields, woods and meadows.
Situated on the circuit of the bastides and in the heart of the Gaillacois vineyards, near the Grésigne national forest and 30 km from Albi, you will be ideally placed to walk or cycle and discover all the treasures of our beautiful region. In the evening, after relaxing in the Spa, you can sometimes hear the deer talking in the woods during the aperitif. Living room with sofa, folding table, bar stools and kitchenette including induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and Tassimo coffee pod machine Bedroom with double bed 140 x 200, storage shelves.
