Want to go fishing without even taking the car? Now you can! There's a lake just a few metres below the house. Swimming is not permitted, but there are no restrictions on fishing. You're also equidistant from Gaillac, Albi, Réalmont and Graulhet, so you can discover a whole range of landscapes and activities. You can taste Gaillac wine, visit the inestimable Sainte-Cécile cathedral, visit the royal bastide of Réalmont or discover all the secrets of leather at the leather capital: Graulhet.
The guest house :
The old farmhouse has been completely modernised to become La Maison du Pouget; a detached house full of character with a swimming pool and not overlooked. Don't look for any fences to delimit the garden, as only the fields of an organic farmer in the distance will hold you back. Less than a kilometre downhill from the house, you can enjoy a lake where the frogs enjoy singing in chorus at dusk.
The outside of the house is equipped with garden furniture, barbecue and plancha for your barbecue evenings. The swimming pool measures 9x4m with a shallow end of 1.40m; ideal for swimming with children (the pool is secured by an alarm and cleaned every morning by the owner). A table tennis table, a molky game and petanque balls are also available.
The house is equipped with underfloor heating and 3 reversible air-conditioning units to welcome you all year round. You can leave your car under a covered shelter and recharge your car using the electric charging point provided.
Ground floor:
- A cosy reading corner in the entrance hall with board games and long novels.
- A 28m² kitchen/dining room with all the equipment you need to prepare delicious meals (induction hob, oven, food processor, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso vertuo coffee machine for pod lovers and filter coffee machine...).
- A 28m² lounge with armchairs, sofa and large 4K screen TV.
- A separate toilet
First floor
- Green bedroom (13m²): 140x200cm bed, desk and wardrobe.
- Beige bedroom (25m²): 180x200cm bed thanks to twin beds and a 90x200cm single bed. Private shower room with wc.
- Blue bedroom (13m²): 160x200cm bed, wardrobe, desk and lovely view of the pool.
- Shower room with large shower, double washbasin and wc.
Please note that it is possible to add :
- baby cots (2 available),
- 1 high chair
- 1 90 cm bed.

All-inclusive guest house: beds made on arrival, bathroom linen and towels for the swimming pool, end-of-stay cleaning included, heating.
Swimming pool cleaned every morning by the owner (between 30 min and 1 hour).
A supplement may apply if you use the charging point for electric vehicles.
