Tonnac is a small village on the Cordes plateau, on the road leading from Cordes sur Ciel to Vaour. The landscape alternates between limestone plateaux and forests, typical limestone houses, cereal fields and vineyards.
In front of you, the "Pays des Bastides" and the Gaillac vineyards, behind you Saint-Antonin and the Aveyron Gorges. To your left, the medieval town of Cordes sur Ciel, proudly standing on its rocky outcrop, recently voted "Favourite Village of the French". And to the right, Vaour, a welcoming little village, famous for its burlesque theatre festival "Eté de Vaour".
The gîte is housed in an old farmhouse typical of the Cordes plateau. It adjoins unoccupied farm buildings, with a small garden to the rear of the gîte, a covered terrace and views over meadows and woods. An enclosed garden to the front of the gîte overlooks a field occupied by horses (an electrified fence borders this field).
