Come and take a step back in time by participating in the famous medieval festival of a 13th century town. Each year, there's a parade of medieval costumes, horse-drawn carriages, fire-eaters, troubadours and jugglers to the sound of tambourin drums, fiddles, bagpipes and other medieval musical instruments.
Knights and ladies parade and court each other – come and meet them. The Great Falconer's Medieval Festival invites you to marvel at the authenticity of a very special town and the fabulous entertainment that's on offer during the two days of the festival!
Try out blacksmithing, a job that dates back more than 2,000 years; calligraphy if you feel like writing beautiful letters; or medieval cuisine whose cooking methods and delicacies might remind you of old family recipes.
