"La Croix des Marchands is the site of a two-thousand-year-old love affair between the earth and the vine. An ancient crossroads for potters in Gallo-Roman times, this place was long predestined for vine-growing. Our vineyard is family-owned and has been handed down from father to son for several generations. Attached to our terroir and our grape varieties, we produce, vinify, package and distribute our wines with a purely qualitative vision. Today, we are fortunate to be able to work two terroirs in the Gaillac appellation to offer you the most complete range of Gaillac wines, all in a convivial, friendly atmosphere. We do our utmost to produce wines from a “living and natural” vineyard. This commitment is reflected in our Terra Vitis label and our High Environmental Value (HVE) certification."
Group tours of the estate are available all year round, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm, lasting about an hour and a half.
