The Sentier des Quatre Châteaux (Four Castles Trail) takes you through the village of Sénouillac and the surrounding area, passing close to a number of private châteaux.
Along the way, you'll also discover the vine-covered hillsides that have made this region so rich and famous. The name of the route refers to four châteaux: de la Bonnette, de Linardié, de Saint-Martial and the most famous: Château de Mauriac. The latter is the only one open to the public. The painter Bistes bought it in the 1960s and completely restored this 15th-century building, which is thought to have been built by the Templar Guiriaudus de Mauricius.
