Halfway between Montauban and Gaillac, the La Vergnère gîte is ideally situated for enjoying a holiday in the countryside. The large 3 lakes leisure centre is just 10 minutes from the gîte, with its 4 swimming pools, waterslides, spa, fishing lake and swimming lake... there's no shortage of activities!
The famous Episcopal City of Albi and its UNESCO-listed cathedral are a 45-minute drive away, as is the hilltop town of Cordes-sur-Ciel. You're ideally placed for visiting Gaillac and its bastide towns, and enjoying the summer aperitif concerts. A local producers' shop is also just 5 minutes from the gîte.
** THE GITE **
Situated below the owners' house, you can enjoy an independent space with a large garden and plenty of children's play equipment in a gîte for 4 people (up to 6 people with the attic sleeping accommodation).
- Living room: open-plan kitchen with oven, microwave, Tassimo® filter and pod coffee maker, top-of-the-range fridge. Lounge and dining area with TV and pellet stove.
From the living room:
- shower room with walk-in shower, washbasin, WC and washing machine.
- Ground floor bedroom with 140x190cm double bed.
- Mezzanine access to the first floor via a spiral staircase. Bedroom opening onto the living room with a 140x190cm double bed and a 90x190cm single bed. A second 90x190cm bed for a 6th berth is located in an attic space, also open to the living room.
Outside: several dining and relaxation areas in a large unfenced garden. Stone barbecue in the garden, trampoline for the children and swing with small slide. The hens' enclosure is on the right of the gîte, and they'll be delighted to be fed!
Access to the gîte is via the owners' house behind the gîte. You can park in front of the gîte.
