The Raymond Lafage museum

The Raymond Lafage Museum invites you to its new, modern premises for an artistic journey through the centuries. You'll discover graphic arts from the 17th century to the present day: Honoré Daumier, Charlie Hebdo, Raymond Lafage and Mikio Watanabé.

Awarded the "Musée de France" label and inaugurated in its new premises on 1 July 2023, the Musée Raymond Lafage is devoted to the graphic arts in the broadest sense, from the 17th century to the present day. Spread out over 3 levels, come and appreciate the fabulous works of Honoré Daumier, the eminent 19th-century caricaturist; an etching by Manet, the revolutionary painter who foreshadowed Impressionism; exclusive drawings by Charlie Hebdo; admirable engravings of imaginary landscapes by Gérard Trignac, twice winner of the Velasquez prize; Mikio Watanabé, winner of the Lisle-sur-Tarn Triennial of Intaglio Engravings, undisputed international master of the black manner; and a large collection of drawings by Raymond Lafage, artist, draughtsman and engraver, Michelangelo of his time, exhibited several times at the Louvre, but who died too soon to enjoy the success he deserved.
A must-see artistic experience for art lovers and professionals alike.
